The moment has passed. I do have some attachment to the little grey bird in this house. These birds live a long time, are highly intelligent and affectionate.

Without enough attention they have been a little bit out of sorts. Birds are extremely rewarding as pets and particularly were therapeutic for me last year. A downside is the squawking and the attitude. I picked the title of this posting on purpose. You can think of grouse as a verb or a noun. Birds are really important to me but it has been my condition lately to grouse at the tiniest provocation. I am overly sensitive and critical. It seems that that is not immediately going to change.

The dual definition of grouse suggest some cleverness or even duplicity in my efforts.. I am not referencing the bird because I am trying to publicly acknowledge and atone for my generally negative attitude. There are some real internal struggle and debates. After thirty years of life, I still have a great deal to learn and experience. Tomorrow, will be a fresh new beginning and I shall mention a different bird or reference other feelings as I attempt to get some clarity and direction.

<georss:box>43.488344 -116.4445355 43.736918 -115.97761650000001</georss:box>
